I find it very hard to point the most important human invention, because humankind has so many brilliant ideas and are able to construct so unimaginable things, that pick just one or even two of them - for me is nearly impossible. Nevertheless, I had to choose something, thus, in my opinion this following two inventions had the biggest influence to further human development process.
First one is the wheel, because it was the first proof that human can think in abstract way. In the world that surrounds us directly we can’t observe circumvolution, so this concept hasn’t been inspired by nature – and that’s why it's so impressive! But as they say: necessity is the mother of invention. Needless to say, that discovery the wheel had the fundamental for the later development such as for example inventing car, train etc.
The second one is printing press that was invented by the Johannes Gutenberg in 1455. In this time books were very rare and expensive, because they ware manually transcribed by monks, so we can say that this innovation had started the printing revolution. Books started to be cheaper and more available for populace. More and more people could read books and gain education and this was the reason why science may develop.
